Terms of Service

1. About these terms

These terms apply when you use Social Autopilot, including the website and the app. Social Autopilot is currently operated by Kunal Kava as an individual, ahead of incorporating a company. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you use Social Autopilot on behalf of a business, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these terms for it.

2. Early access

Social Autopilot is in early access. Access is by invitation only. Features may change, and there may be interruptions or errors while we build the product. We will do our best to give notice before removing features you rely on.

3. Your account

• You must be at least 18 years old and use the service for business or professional purposes.
• Keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity in your workspace, including by people you invite.
• Give us accurate information and keep it up to date.

4. Connected social accounts

To publish, you connect Instagram or Facebook accounts that you own or are authorised to manage. You authorise us to publish the content you schedule to those accounts at the times you choose.

Social Autopilot is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Meta. Instagram and Facebook are trademarks of Meta Platforms, Inc. Your use of those platforms remains subject to their own terms. Meta can change or restrict its services at any time, which may affect what Social Autopilot can do. We are not responsible for actions Meta takes on your accounts.

5. Your content

You keep all rights to the content you upload. You give us a limited licence to store, process, resize, transcode and publish that content solely to provide the service to you. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies already published to your social accounts.

You are responsible for your content. You confirm that you have the rights to publish it and that it does not break any law or the rules of the platform it is published to.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Social Autopilot to:

• send spam or run automated engagement, such as mass following, liking or commenting,
• publish content that is illegal, deceptive, hateful, or that infringes someone else's rights,
• access accounts you are not authorised to manage,
• attempt to break, overload, reverse engineer or bypass the security of the service, or
• resell the service without our written agreement.

We may suspend accounts that break these rules or put the service or other users at risk.

7. Fees

Social Autopilot is free during early access. When paid plans launch, prices will be shown in Indian Rupees and we will tell you before any charge applies. Paid plans will be billed through our payment provider, with GST invoices where applicable.

8. Availability and scheduled posts

We work to publish every post on time, but we cannot guarantee it. Posts can fail because of platform outages, expired permissions, content that a platform rejects, or problems on our side. When a post fails, we tell you in the app and, where set up, by email, so you can retry or publish manually.

9. Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost followers or missed business opportunities, including from a post that failed or published late. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or INR 5,000 if you have not paid us anything. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Ending your use

You can stop using Social Autopilot and ask us to delete your account at any time (see Data Deletion). We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. If we decide to shut down the service, we will give at least 30 days' notice.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product develops. For material changes, we will notify account holders by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms.
